Helping People Enjoy Life Together

Life is better when we’re present.
Whether you’re attending a concert at Tanglewood, exploring a museum, celebrating a special occasion, traveling to the airport, or discovering New England for the first time, Berkshire Mobility exists to make the experience easier, more enjoyable, and more memorable.
Meet Gregory Dale

For most of my career, I helped organizations improve the way they worked. Whether through technology, consulting, sales leadership, or business transformation, I was always interested in helping people clarify their goals, solve problems, and accelerate progress toward the future they envisioned.
At its core, my work was never really about technology.
It was about people.
It was about understanding where they wanted to go, identifying obstacles in their path, and helping them move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
Life taught me those same lessons in a more personal way.
The events surrounding 9/11, the challenges that followed, raising a family, and later helping care for my father during his battle with dementia all shaped my understanding of resilience, service, and the importance of relationships.
Over time, I came to appreciate that some of life’s greatest rewards are not found in achievement alone. They are found in meaningful experiences, shared moments, and being fully present with the people who matter most.
For more than fifteen years, I found myself returning to the Berkshires.
I came for the music. I came for the museums. I came for the mountains, the small towns, and the sense of perspective I found here.
As my children became adults and retirement appeared on the horizon, I began asking a different question:
How do I want to spend the next chapter of my life?
The answer led me to the Berkshires.
I wanted to live more intentionally. I wanted to spend more time building relationships, enjoying meaningful experiences, and helping others do the same.
Berkshire Mobility grew from that decision.
It was not created because I wanted to start a transportation company.
It was created because I enjoy helping people discover new possibilities, connect with experiences that enrich their lives, and spend more time being present with the people they care about.
Today, I serve as your host and coordinator, helping residents and visitors access the experiences, destinations, and opportunities that make life in the Berkshires so rewarding.
Why the Berkshires?
What began with attending concerts at Tanglewood grew into a deeper appreciation for the museums, theaters, scenic beauty, and cultural experiences that make this region so special. Over time, the Berkshires became more than a place I visited.
They became a place that helped shape how I wanted to live.
As I entered a new chapter of life, I found myself spending more time pursuing interests that brought meaning, joy, and connection. Music, museums, theater, dance, photography, travel, conversation, and time spent with family and friends became increasingly important.
These experiences enriched my life, and Berkshire Mobility was created to share them with others.

More Than Transportation
For years, I had visited the Berkshires to enjoy the music, museums, natural beauty, and cultural experiences that make this area so special. Once I became a full-time resident, I started noticing something else.
Access.
Visitors, residents, hotels, cultural organizations, and local businesses were all experiencing the same challenge. The Berkshires offer extraordinary opportunities, yet getting here, getting around, and connecting to the broader transportation network can often be more complicated than expected.
Guests arriving from Boston, New York, or regional airports frequently encountered fragmented connections, limited transportation options, and uncertainty about how to complete the next stage of their journey. Residents often planned entire days around airport departures, medical appointments, business travel, and long-distance transportation needs.
The challenge was not simply transportation.
The challenge was connectivity.
As someone who spent decades helping organizations improve systems and remove friction, I began to see the Berkshire region as part of a larger corridor connecting Boston, New York, Albany, Bradley Airport, and communities throughout New England.
The question became simple:
How could we make these connections easier, more reliable, and more enjoyable?
Berkshire Mobility was created to help answer that question.
